Review of "Creating Lotus Notes Applications"

"Creating Lotus Notes Applications" was the first Notes book I got my hands on when I started learning how to create Notes apps. I had never used the program before so what I needed was a good book with the basics in it. I soon discovered that the book is indeed aimed to a total novice, and within days it became too "general" in a way and I had to start searching for information from on-line help, other books and the net.

All steps needed to create an application are described in full detail and also a lot of screen clips are used. So until one has to start writing more complicated macros and formulas than the book's examples, "Creating Lotus Notes Applications" is a good "how to / reference" book for a beginner.
