From Terri Fabbri: An install fee for any head unit in the ML should range between $35-$65, unless the fee is buried/absorbed by the dealer in the purchase price of the head unit itself. The ML is one of the easiest trucks to change head units, mucho room behind the stereo and plenty of slack in the wiring harness. The wiring harness plug for the ML head unit and the Blaupunkt unit are a 100% no brainer cross-fit. This made the Blaupunkt installation less than a 5 min deal (2 bars slid off, unplug+replug, and reinstall). The Alpine takes about 10 min more to install. I have a Alpine 7949 installed (top end), and install on my $600 head unit was $40.
